Introduction The advanced lessons of the online drums method are directed to someone who has some experience,
who knows the percussion instruments, musical theory and basic drum techniques and wishes to improve his knowledge and his skills.
In this part of the method for drums you'll find some exercises to improve the techniques you have learnt in the basic lessons,
a deeper knowledge about different rhythms, and some studies about style and technique of some great drummers,
from past and present times.
Reading the drum charts and the transcriptions in some of the following lessons requires a good knowledge
of musical writing; even experienced drummers can find something new to learn in these pages.
Method Advanced drum lessons, like the basic lessons, consist of a short text introduction
and of a drum chart in pdf format
that can be downloaded and printed, so that you can play your drums or percussion instrument along to the chart.

Snare drum exercises with rolls and accents - lesson 2
In these snare drum exercises you'll find the same schemes from the second lesson about accents,
with the inclusion of rolls between an accented stroke and the other.
In this case they are triplets of sixteenths of double strokes played by the right and the left hand.
What you get is an alternation of rolls made by 3, 5 and 7 strokes, separated by the accented strokes.
Like before, aftyer you have played and learnt every single exercise, repeat all the sequence of exercises in a row.
