Double strokes, beginner snare drum lessons

Introduction to the video drum lesson: Double stroke 2

The exercises in the printable sheet music of this snare drum lesson are different combinations of double strokes.

The second snare drum lesson dealing with double strokes shows some exercises about fourths, eights and triplets of sixteenths. To develop speed, endurance and precision, you should play every pattern in the drum sheet slowly at first, increasing the speed only when you find equality of the strokes, and precision with the maximum looseness.
After you have learnt the exercises singularly, you should play them inverting the hands and play all the exercises consecutively.
