American musician, singer and songwriter David Eric Grohl was born on January 14, 1969 in Warren, Ohio.
He formed his first rock band at 10, played with various local bands in his high school years, leaving his studies to play
with the hardcore group Scream before auditioning to become drummer for Nirvana.
Nirvana's music achieved international success, but after the death of their singer Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl
thought about leaving the music stages.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and then forming the alternative rock band Foo Fighters,
and also as a singer he again had great success.
Dave Grohl is also drummer and co-founder of the rock supergroup Them Crooked Vultures
