Josh Dun is an American musician, best known as the talented drummer of the popular musical duo Twenty One Pilots.

Born in Columbus, Ohio in June 18 1988, Joshua William Dun when he was a child began to play trumpet taking lessons at school, then he switched to drums, learning to play the instrument himself. Despite his parents not letting him do it, he secretly listened to punk rock bands and learned to play the drums imitating the drum beats of records playing an electronic drum set. Before joining Twenty One Pilots Josh Dun was the drummer for the musical band House of Heroes replacing the previous one and recording many songs from the album Suburba.
In 2011, Josh Dun was impressed by a Twenty One Pilots live performance and after the show he met the band’s lead singer Tyler Joseph. Over the next few days they began spending a lot of time together building a friendship that changed their life. Later, Josh Dun joined Twenty One Pilots when original bassist Nick Thomas and drummer Chris Salih left the band.
Since then Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun together have released Twenty One Pilots' most successful albums such as Vessel in 2013 and Blurryface in 2015, containing their most popular hit single Stressed Out.
