Drum lessons snare drums

Drums practice online, one hand training routines

Introduction to the video drum lesson: Alternate hands 2

In the sheet of this lesson you'll find some exercises to practice separately with left and right hand on the snare drum

The second drum lesson dealing with alternate hands shows some exercises about fourths, eights, sixteenths and triplets of eights. It's very important to try to keep the same approach with both hands, as much as possible.
You should play every pattern slowly at first, increasing the speed only when you find precision and equality of the strokes, and the maximum looseness. After you have learnt them singularly, you should play all the nine exercises in the drum sheet consecutively.
