The following exercises about double strokes alternate fourths, eights and sixteenths. Control of bounce enables you to play the double strokes, with the sticks, fast and accurately. Beginners should play every pattern slowly at first, increasing the speed only when all strokes are played with precision and equality, and the maximum looseness.

You should play the exercises inverting the hands and, after you have learnt them singularly, play all the exercises consecutively.
