In this lesson about basic coordination in Rock drumming, you can find a series of exercises on the drum set,
all the percussion classes in this tutorial feature various combinations of strokes on the classic rock pattern, one 4/4 measure
with steady quadruplets played by the right hand on the ride cymbal, and second and fourth fourths played by the hi-hat.
Study each exercise carefully before moving on to the next one, in the end you can play them all together in a row,
to do this you can use the virtual drums as a guide by pressing the CHAIN button.
The drum sheet of these lessons split the staff in two:
the upper one shows the steady pattern of hi-hat and ride cymbal, and the lower one shows a combination of snare and bass drum strokes.
The first exercise shows only the basic rock pattern, the following ones add various combinations of
single strokes
to the left hand eights.
