rock 'n' roll drummers in the history of music.
English drummer John Bonham was born in 1948, at the age of five he began playing drums
making his first rock drum set with containers and coffee tins. A few years later he received his first snare drum,
and at age 15 a complete drum kit. He has played with various local bands and in 1968 joined vocalist Robert Plant,
guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones forming Led Zeppelin,
one of the most popular rock bands of the 1960s and '70s.
John Bonham's drumming style and the unmistakable sound of his rock drum set,
are still reference models for many young hard rock and metal drummers.
